To know that I have someone in my life that is completely and utterly proud and supportive of everything I do is a privilege, and I couldn’t be more blessed to know that that person is my older sister who has been unwavering in this fact my entire life. As much as we are different, we are scarily alike and I cannot telepathically communicate with anyone more clearly than with her. The connection that I have with my older sister is honestly a mystery that can only be explained through a lifetime of petty arguments and trivial fights. However, I can confidently say that my sister is my best friend, my backbone, and my protector. Like the white alligator, my sister Chloë stands strong, resolute in her presence and her ability to love and watch over me unconditionally.
