This piece is a tribute to my eldest sister, Chloë. In this portrait,
Chloë faces away from the viewer, yet to me, she is looking
forward and boldly confronting what lies ahead for both of us.
To represent her unwavering and strong spirit, a swirling
pattern of flowers blooms in the center of the work. This
shape draws the viewer's attention to the nape of her neck,
flushed with a fiery orange hue. This color symbolizes both the
warmth of my sister's protection and her fierce courage.
